What can I say? This knife built like a tank. It feels great in hand, and it begs to be used.

This knife is built "Better than a tank!" and it's the first folder I've ever had that doesn't feel like it's wearing out every time I use it... it feels like it's wearing/settling in instead. I have ten children and I'll need to buy 9 more Medfords now because I know I can actually hand this knife down to the next generation with pride & confidence!

This was my first Medford. I am impressed at how well this knife cuts. This knife has a thick strong blade yet cuts like my thin hollow ground knives. Bottom line, great knife!

Complete beast of a knife. Fits nice in the hands and that beautiful Vulcan finish makes it stand out in an over-crowded market of EDC knives. Thick cut of blade steel, smooth opening and razor sharp. What are you waiting for?!

The 187DP is a serious piece of cutlery. It is built like a tank and the blade geometry makes it an amazing slicer, while being a rugged knife at the same time. The action is smooth and the lockup is SOLID. Medford has made me a believer....

The 187 DP is a fantastic folder. The action is buttery smooth or as Greg would say "just yummy". The geometry on the lock face is fantastic. There is no lock stick present. I really like the design as it allows easy access to the lock face to clean it as well as access the the detent hole for easy cleaning. The knife came razor sharp and is easy to maintain with a strop. While it is a chunky monkey, the narrow design allows for a comfortable pocket carry and the clip is perfection.
