I sent an email in a few weeks ago. Long time knife advocate and new Medford owner. This all started as I was showing my soon to be 14 and 15 year old boys some videos on manhood and what it means to be a man. I was having some discussions with them about that, dating, marriage, etc. One of those videos was Greg's from early March.
I started out searching for a Medford to support you all and 'Merica, made in USA. I did find a Praetorian T from St. Nick's that just seemed like my youngest son's style and that I will give him at graduation or a manhood ceremony in the future. This led me to watching more Greg videos and subscribing to see the latest creations that Amy puts out on YT.
I work for a fortune 500 insurance company. I don't have the luxury to say what Greg says about current economic and political environment, but I'm so thankful there are good men like him that are willing to stand up and speak their mind. In a way for me to support you all and stand with you is to put my money where it can be effective as you are a surrogate for others. I think we would be fast friends and hope to someday get to Phoenix for a tour or meet up as I did the Centurion videos.
In two weeks, I purchased 5 Praetorians. Maybe I have a problem, but three were gifts, so I think that makes it ok... I purchased a Ti from Shankhouse, a Genesis T for my oldest son as a future gift from Gil at Wild, and a matching Genesis T / Micro from Al at Azkickr for the wife and I.
Keep doing what you are and I'll do my part to share these excellent tools with friends and family and hopefully bring you some more sales in the future. You are making a difference and not just in the knife community, and you will have impacted my boys lives. They will forever remember your video and one day when they get that knife, it will cement the meaning in what it represents.
God Bless! Thank you,
This will definitely get an order out of me, in the near future. I would like to see an option for a Ti micro Praetorian as that’s my favorite size and form factor.
You have come up with the best configurator I have seen in quite some time! I own a lot of your knives, everything from just black to flamed and Vulcan blades. While building my knife, the colors that I chose showed up exactly like the color will actually be! To me that is huge. You guys did a great job! Please keep up the good work, I have more knives to buy from you!
Can we get sculpting options built in?! Pretty Please 🙂
I've had my Praetorian for over a year and I'm still thrilled about it every time I open it.
I have been building knives on your page in the past and always wondered what the finished build looked like.... Now I know. My only complaint would be to add where the knife could be turned in a 360 degree option to see it from all sides and angles. I know a lot of the people like the thickness of the blade. This would be a great way to show that off. Still amazing bullet proof knives!
I think it is so much better than the old way. I love being able to see how the different color combinations actually look.
This knife is a FFB! FFB stands for Folding Fixed Blade! What a beast! Everyone has always wanted to carry a Fixed Blade. It's stronger but not as easy to conceal or carry On Duty or Off Duty as a Law Enforcement Officer. Greg has given you the strength of a Fixed Blade but in a Folder. So you have the Folding Fixed Blade that can be carried where you wouldn't carry a Fixed Blade.
What a BEAST!!!!!!!
Where to start, well i recieved my email to confirm that my knife was about to be despatched and then the second email to inform me that the wrong steel had been used and most companies that would be the end of story, not so with Medford, two solutions were offered to me so that I would have a knife but the the blade on would have a different finish and the second blade would be a Tanto and again a different finish, so here what happened if i had chosen one of these two options the knife would be matched with either of the finishes PVD or Vulcan at their own expense, where on earth would you custom service like this and the answer is nowhere, so i emailed them to i would wait and that was back in October and roughly a month later the third week in November i received the address confirmation email and the despatched email giving the arrival date of the 27/11/19 and i collected the package from my Sister's house after I had finished my shift.
Now for the Praetorian Ti, for a Knife of this size i noticed how light it is and thus making it a pleasure to use throughout the day and also it makes it a very fast blade in the hand and very comfortable with a handle that swells to perfectly between the index and little fingers, the craftmanship and finish needs another five stars to do it justice, so in closing i would like to say a big thanks to Amy and Denise and all the other Craftsmen and Support Staff for a wonderful service and not to forget the man who made this all possible Greg Medford keep up the great work.
I don't even know where to begin. This thing blows my mind. I was a little apprehensive about placing an order for something I couldn't see final product before my eyes. But let me tell you I'm more than impressed! I am absolutely in love with this beast of a knife and I truly can't thank you enough for walking me through the ordering process and getting me my grail knife ! Sincerely from the bottom of my heart thank you so so much Amy ! Please thank the boss man as well for allowing this knife to be made.
Thank you so much again for all your help and for cutting the wait time in half that was the quickest year ever.
