This vault in 2024 featured some of the most popular Medford Knife & Tool handle sculpting as you’ll see below…

First of all, if you’re reading this, there was a mystery in the air these May and June months. It was heating up in the city of Phoenix, AZ where 40-50+ cars and trucks pull in to the Medford Knife & Tool parking lot and get to crafting American-made badassery. 

At this time, there was a LOT of speculation around the sunsetting of the Praetorian. If you poked your nose into one of the public social media groups and forums, fans were aghast, confused, angry, thrilled and most of all supportive of a HUGE company announcement. One his most popular knives ever, the knife that STARTED the company, Greg Medford revealed the factory is sunsetting the Praetorian.

This Ti Vault featuring the sculpting came together from a request the website developer had made. He requested an example of each sculpt from the grind room to be made for pictures to create an information resource for Medford Knife & Tool called the “Sculpting & Finishes” Page. 

Then…

Realizing these were some of the last Praetorian Ti handles that were going to be made – we quickly hustled to pair them up with blades to create a spectacular vault offered in June 2024 and likely the last of it’s kind. The knives were gone in minutes to locations all over the world.
