Black Card Knife blades is a nearly 15″ inches of steel. So long it could only be one knife in the Medford Knife Archive… the TBF.
With a little research, you’ll see only a handful of these knives made it onto the internet… and it’s often mistaken as it’s little brother – the USMC Raider at 11.6″
It’s Ridiculously Big.
Greg Medford re-introduced the USMC Raider in summer of 2024 and the response was extremely unnexpected.

These 15″ blanks freshly cut from our water jet are now surface ground to probably somewhere slightly above .270″
They will go to the Machine Shop next, followed by the Grind Room for rough grind, heat treat, then finish grind and surface grind round 2…
A pair of updated 2026 contoured G10 handles in a new pattern from Greg Medford are cut in the Daytron by the shop. It looks to me like a multi-color black, tan, grey combination…
Then, the whole knife comes together in assembly with a titanium hardware and hilt. If you want to see the whole process, we’ll be releasing a video on our channel.
