A Brief History of
the Gigantes
Introduced in 2015–2016, the Gigantes was an immediate landmark—one of the most ergonomic and satisfying flippers in the Medford lineup. Its action was phenomenal despite its size, and its profile never cut or tore the pocket.
Built for Titans.
Made for Everyone.
Flexing a 6″ closed length, the Gigantes commanded attention from the moment it arrived. After all, the Titans from Greek mythology would carry this knife. It is huge—a true pocket sword.
The knife sports a Harpoon-style floated false edge and an extremely practical main edge for all seasons. For men with big hands, it was right at home. For everyone else, it was stunning in its light weight and remarkably comfortable feel.
Production had a short lifespan. The Gigantes was sunsetted in 2016–2017—and remained that way, until the 2024 re-release that brought it back as a custom special project.
