This knife has all the style of our rescaled Praetorian knives but is amongst the slimmest in the business. It truly disappears in the pocket. With 1/8” thick slabs for the handles and blade this knife can cross over between work jeans and dress pants. Shorts??? No problem. This knife is light but punches way above its weight. Perfect for the blade-slinger that wants to carry darn near everywhere and likes his knife to make a quiet statement. Slim, light, tough and ready to be used all day long.

Every year for Christmas, my dad buys my brother and myself a new knife. Christmas 2020 marked a decade of this tradition and my dad decided he wanted to go all out, this time. He has heard me rave about some of higher end brands like Medford, Chris Reeve, and Strider as I became more and more of a knife nut. He started doing some research and MKT's design language lured him in. He called the shop to see if Medford could set him up with three unique yet identical Praetorian Slims.
He said throughout the process he worked with Jeanine, Eva, and Lindsay. Each individual provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to make sure his request was met and our expectations were exceeded. The Medford team came up with ideas like, engraving our initials, laser etching “TEN” on each of the knives, and flame anodizing the scales to give each knife a look of its own.
I already own a few Medfords and have been a fan for quite some time. Simply put, I love my Medford knives. However, hearing my Dad’s story of the care and attention all the employees took, has made me a Medford customer for life. It’s not every day that customer service like this exists with a company that makes such a badass product.
I wish I could upload pictures of the knives here as they are nothing short of amazing. The Praetorian Slim hasn’t left my pocket in a month now. I’ve used it every day and can’t get enough. (Something I thought would be difficult as I find my SnG usually gets the most pocket time.) It’s truly one of, if not the, best EDC knives on the market today. I’ll be adding pics with this review over on the FB group and Reddit r/knives, if anyone would like to see these beauties. Thank you Medford!
It’s exciting to see Medford catering to different markets in the knife world! Keeping the same bad ass look with the Praetorian but thinning down the dimensions so it is pocket friendly for everybody! Still...pulled out in public it would probably be considered a big knife from the general public?
