This knife is fantastic. It feels great in the hand and in the pocket, incredibly sharp straight out of the box, and the look of the thing is so badass it's hard to explain until you show someone. I got the Terminator finish because it's just pure and simple, and to me, it's nice that it highlights the metal and design, giving an apparent feeling of the knife in your hand. I got this for EDC and wanted something that looks great, works for everything I'd throw at it, and that I could use to protect myself. I live in Los Angeles, and owning a gun in California is basically painting a target on your back for a prosecutor to turn your 2nd amendment against you if you had to defend yourself. A knife, to me, is a little bit more of a deterrent in a close-up situation, and I wanted something that would communicate fear before I'd ever have to use it. This knife does that and more. Not to mention, if you just wanted to beat someone with the handle, it's heavy and solid enough to do that alone. My point is, if you're gonna have a knife and you worry about violence occurring in a big city, then you should consider how that knife might be helpful if someone tries to hurt you or the ones that you love. From the deployment to the feel to the use, there is a lot of opportunity for a person to come to their senses and run away. I'd carry a Romulas with me, but that's not allowed in CA. Anyway, it's just a fantastic tool. The "And Tool" in the name says it all. Just try to find something this knife can't handle, I dare you.
