The BOA-P is a purpose built anti-personnel knife used by U.S. Navy SEALs currently. This design and its specific geometry and subtle configuration was developed for their specific mission and performs perfectly. The shape and construction was heavily influenced by current Sentry elimination techniques and tactics. The blade has been in use and is only now available to the public. False edged models are available for customers whose state laws preclude true daggers.

The BOA-P (Black-Ops Anti-Personnel) entered the Medford lineup as one of the most specialized fixed blades the company produced — a narrow-mission tool aimed squarely at the tactical and military buyer. Unlike the Sea Wolf, which served multiple roles, the BOA-P's dagger profile and serrated edge made its purpose unambiguous.

The knife went through at least two production configurations. The early version used D2 tool steel with a 5.25" blade; a later variant — the one most frequently sold through retailers like Perry Knife Works, Atlantic Knife, and Blade HQ — ran S35VN with a 5.5" blade and added both Black and Coyote G10 handle options. S35VN reflected Medford's gradual shift toward premium stainless alloys in production fixed blades, offering better corrosion resistance for field and maritime environments while maintaining the edge toughness the brand is known for.

The BOA-P was eventually sunsetted as part of Medford's fixed-blade lineup consolidation. Remaining production inventory was later offered as an "Attic Find" — factory-inspected units sold as-is at reduced price, a Medford tradition for clearing discontinued stock. As of 2026, the model no longer appears in the active catalog.
