The Medford NAV-H is the companion knife to the NAV-T in the Navigator series — same family, different blade geometry. Where the NAV-T carries the broader, higher-belly profile, the NAV-H runs a longer, leaner drop-point optimized for hunter-style slicing tasks alongside tactical use. The blade has a clean full flat grind on the primary bevel, a forward quillon to prevent hand slippage, and is produced in both DLC/PVD black and brushed satin finishes. A fire-patina bare-steel variant was also produced, showing the heat treatment and grain structure of the underlying steel.
Handle construction follows the same pattern as the NAV-T: G10 scales secured by machine screws, available in black and tan/coyote, over a full tang with a hex-socket cutout in the butt. The scalloped spine of the tang is visible above the G10 scales, providing additional thumb purchase and a distinctive visual break between steel and handle material. A paracord-wrapped bare-tang version was also documented in production, retaining the same hex butt tool. Sheath is a modular black kydex with platform carry attachment.
