GunSlinger
Story
The Medford GunSlinger is the company's EDC multi-tool for the firearm owner who carries a 1911. The form factor is essentially a flat tanto-profiled body — the angular chisel tip functions as a scraper and mini-pry bar — built around a center channel that retains a Phillips head bit driver secured by two orange O-rings. The handle end incorporates a 1911 barrel bushing wrench and a bottle opener machined into the loop, plus a hex wrench cutout. Everything is PVD coated to match the broader Medford tool finish language.
The GunSlinger is compact enough to ride in a pocket, on a keychain, or threaded onto a belt loop, and every element is functional: the bit driver handles common fastener work, the bushing wrench addresses the 1911's most field-serviceable fastener, the pry tip works for paint seals and panel gaps, and the bottle opener does what bottle openers do. It is not a knife — it is a flat tool built for the specific maintenance tasks that come with carrying a 1911-pattern pistol, finished and proportioned to the same standard as Medford's bladed tools.

History
The GunSlinger was produced as part of Medford Knife & Tool's accessories and tools category, designed specifically for 1911 pistol owners. The tool integrates a bit driver with Phillips head bit (stored in a center channel retained by O-rings), a 1911 barrel bushing wrench, a scraper and mini-pry bar at the tanto-profile tip, and a bottle opener built into the ring loop at the opposite end. It was finished in PVD black consistent with Medford's broader tactical tool aesthetic. The GunSlinger was carried by Medford-aligned retailers as a compact EDC tool for firearm maintenance and general use, distinguishing itself from the knife side of the catalog as a purpose-built gunsmithing accessory. The model has since been retired from Medford's active lineup.
