Fixed Blade
Current StatusHistorical Archive

The Medford China Doll is one of the most visually distinctive knives Medford ever produced — a fully skeletonized, single-piece fixed blade where the handle and blade emerge from the same uninterrupted slab of steel with no scales, no G10, no wrapping. The handle section is cut through with geometric angular voids — a series of diamond and chevron-shaped negative spaces — that reduce weight dramatically while giving the knife an almost decorative quality at odds with its purpose. The blade is a narrow double-edged dagger profile, ground to a fine point with a secondary chisel-ground tip, finished in DLC/PVD black throughout.

Carried as a neck knife or backup blade, the China Doll ships with a minimal black kydex sheath secured by two grommets, sized to the slender profile of the skeletonized handle. A paracord lanyard through the butt hole allows neck or kit carry. The knife represents a departure from Medford's heavier tactical platform designs — it is light, precise, and architectural in its construction.

The Medford China Doll (id=200) is a fully skeletonized single-piece fixed blade with no handle scales. Design: double-edged dagger/tanto-style blade with geometric diamond and chevron cutouts through the handle section. Finish: DLC/PVD black throughout. Carry: neck knife / backup blade with black kydex sheath (two grommets) and paracord lanyard. Sold through Arizona Custom Knives and other dealers. No WP post ID assigned yet — requires knife-models CPT entry before archive push. Discontinued.
