Ghost
Story
The Ghost was developed as an option to the more traditional "punch knife" boot concept. This knife has all of the strengths of a "T" shaped knife but none of the grip stability challenges. It is a skeleton configuration for concealability and low profile on the body. The sheath is neoprene and velcro. The only bad thing about this knife is that it feels so good in the hand you won't want it all the way down on your ankle...

History
The Ghost was produced as part of Medford Knife & Tool's fixed blade lineup, occupying a distinct niche from their larger field and tactical knives. It was offered in a black PVD-coated D2 configuration as the primary variant, with a natural tumbled/stonewash finish also available in some production runs. The kydex sheath was purpose-formed to cover only the blade, leaving the skeleton handle exposed for a rapid grip on the draw. Blade HQ and other major knife retailers carried the Ghost at approximately 50 retail. The model is a single-piece construction — blade and handle machined from one billet of D2 tool steel in Medford's Phoenix, AZ facility — with the hex wrench cutouts (1/4", 1/2", 5/8") providing both weight reduction and field utility. The Ghost has since been retired from Medford's active catalog.
