Jungle Fighter

The Medford Jungle Fighter was purpose-built as a close-quarters fighting knife for elite American assaulters. Where most tactical fixed blades compromise between field utility and combative performance, the Jungle Fighter makes no such compromise. Its geometry — low-profile, forward-weighted, with deep forward and rear choils — is designed to hug the body and avoid snagging in dense vegetation or tight kit. The dual-grind blade concentrates at the point for penetration while the partial sawback spine provides secondary utility without sacrificing the primary edge geometry.

Medford produced the Jungle Fighter in several steel variants over its run: the original JF-1 ran CPM S35VN stainless with a double-edged spear-point blade designed for unobstructed thrusting; a later production variant switched to CPM S45VN for improved stainless performance; the PRO version ran CPM 3V tool steel for maximum toughness over corrosion resistance. Handle options included black, OD green, and coyote/tan G10, as well as a field-wrap in brown multicam paracord. All versions shipped with a black kydex sheath from MKTE. At 11.8 inches overall with a 5.8-inch blade at 0.190 inches thick, it is a compact and carriable fighting knife rather than a camp or bushcraft tool.

Medford Knife & Tool produced the Jungle Fighter across multiple variants: JF-1 (original) with CPM S35VN stainless double-edged blade and black G10 handles in black MKTE kydex sheath; subsequent variant with CPM S45VN (blade 175mm / ~6.9", thickness 4.8mm); PRO version with CPM 3V tool steel, 5.8" blade, 11.8" OAL, 0.190" blade thickness, G10 handle, kydex sheath. Handle colors documented: black G10, OD green G10, tan/coyote G10, brown multicam paracord wrap. The design features dual grind for piercing, deep forward and rear choils for grip indexing, partial sawback spine serrations, twin quillons, and a lanyard hole in the pommel. Low-profile geometry designed for MOLLE carry and use in close vegetation. Sold through KnifeCenter (discontinued), Arizona Custom Knives, Blade HQ, MonkeyEdge, Michigan Knives, Hollow Grind, and other major dealers.
