Fixed Blade
Current StatusHistorical Archive

The Medford NAV-T is a large-format tactical fixed blade built around the same paracord-wrapped full-tang construction as the TS-2 and TST-1, but scaled up for heavy field work. The "NAV" designation connects the knife to Medford's navigator line — designed for those who operate in austere environments where a knife is not just a tool but a primary piece of field equipment. The drop-point blade has a pronounced belly for slicing work, a forward quillon that locks the index finger forward of the guard, and is available in both a DLC/PVD black finish and a brushed satin.

Handle configurations varied across production runs: the primary version features a bare-steel tang tightly wrapped in paracord — available in OD green, woodland camo, brown multicam, and black — with the same hex multi-tool butt tang as other Medford paracord-handle designs. A separate G10 handle variant was also produced, with OD green G10 scales secured by machine screws over the tang, a more conventional handle geometry that suits users who prefer rigid panels over cordage. Both versions ship in a modular kydex sheath — tan or OD green — with a quick-release belt attachment plate.

The Medford NAV-T is a large tactical fixed blade produced in multiple configurations. Paracord-wrap variants: OD green, woodland camo, brown multicam, black — all with full-tang hex multi-tool butt (hex socket cutouts + nut driver geometry). G10 handle variant: OD green G10 scales with two machine screws, satin blade. Blade finish options: DLC/PVD black and brushed satin. Sheath: modular kydex in tan/coyote or OD green with quick-release belt plate. Forward quillon on all variants. Drop-point blade with pronounced belly. Sold through Coltelleria Collini (Italy) and other international dealers. Model discontinued; limited secondary market availability. The NAV-H is a related model (same family, different blade geometry).
